A 4:30 kilometer on glazed tracks can be an easy morning. In fresh powder it can be a race effort. Skibuddy records the snow with every session, so you always see a time with the conditions behind it.

Pick the snow in the words skiers use
Skibuddy offers fresh powder, packed powder, groomed and hard, icy and glazed, corn and spring snow, slush, man-made and thin cover. You pick one when you save the session, and Skibuddy shows it on the session and next to its time in the route's history.
With the snow on every row, you read a route's history in context: the glazed Tuesday next to the glazed Thursday, and the slush of late March apart from both.
The Smart Coach reads your glide
After each session the Smart Coach compares your glide with your average for the same technique. At 10% above that average it tells you the snow ran fast, and at 10% below that the snow ran slow. The Smart Coach also flags a left or right lean outside 45 to 55% and a stride rate 15% above your usual.
A running tracker
Personal best on the loop
Your watch holds up a best from a glazed morning, and every slush day looks slower.
Skibuddy
Personal best, with its snow
Skibuddy shows the snow on every row, so you judge a slush time against slush.
Skibuddy reads the snow through your glide
When the same skier in the same technique gets 12% more glide, the snow, the skis or both ran fast that day. Skibuddy records the snow, the glide, the skis and the wax, so the wax room can tell you which it was.
